Our Moto Basement!

And here it is.... Our Moto Basement/Sleddin Basement. I got so sick of the trophies and plaques sitting in boxes so we decided to turn our basement (that we rarely even use) into a Moto Basement. Sad to say, I still have about four boxes full of trophies still in storage and the shelves haven't been put up yet for some of the glass trophies and etc... to sit on :)
Pretty fun area!

Our House...

This is the boy's bathroom downstairs. Same color of walls, accented with green black and silver :) The cabinets in this bathroom are also black. I actually really like the way it has turned out looking.

Our House....

This is a view of a little decor in our bedroom. Obviously the main color is black once again, but I have accented with red and green (again) :) The walls throughout the whole house are one main color, the light gray. I choose it because my main colors throughout the whole house are black, dark charcoal gray and a light gray. Our flooring is partial carpet and mostly tile, which they both have the three main colors of my walls involved throughout the design and color. (P.S--- the lamp doesn't really go there :)...)

Our House....

This is a bedroom in the downstairs. I often have my two brothers stay over night with us and sometimes Tater does too. So this is their room. Our basement is more of a brown/western/rustic look and so you can see I have followed a western theme for their room. They loved their names on the wall, I don't know why but I guess it helps tie in all the colors. Pretty fun for the childs!

Our House....

This one view of our kitchen. The black cupboards were originally a gray/navy color. I didn't like it so I painted them black. I feel like it attributes the details on the cabinets. I have kept the kitchen a somewhat neutral color ground, just because the counter tops are quite busy (when you look at up close). My accent colors are red and lime green as well.

Our House....

This is my entry way. However, the little green wreath thing isn't mean't to be there, it is supposed to be outside but the wind always tips it over.
The red colors are a dominant color, so when you walk in you first notice the red and green accents.
This really isn't a large area of space so the long and slim table fits perfect. I like to group decor in three's, as I have the center large window frame and two smaller candles accenting the sides.

Our House as of 2012-----

I typically don't post pictues of my personal beings but, we have made a million and one improvements on our house and I quite love it so... I want to share.
Before: This room was tan walls (now a light gray), the black boarder lines were white and the top border was torquise (now charcoal gray). I love the color black, in my opinion it is a sophisticated and clean look. I have a fetish for scroll and demask patterns, as you can slightly see. Lime green is my accent color, to due the fact is it one of my fav's! All in all, here is my living room :)
